This Privacy Policy explains how the BPM Counter application (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use it. We are committed to respecting your privacy and keeping your data safe.

BPM Counter is an audio analysis tool that uses your device’s microphone to detect tempo (BPM) and visualize audio. The App is designed to process audio locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data or audio recordings on our servers.

2. Data we access

2.1 Microphone (Audio Input)

The App requires access to your device’s microphone to:

• Analyze incoming audio in real time
• Estimate BPM (beats per minute)
• Display visualizers and analysis results

All audio processing is performed locally on your device. The App does not:

• Record audio to files
• Upload audio to any server
• Transmit audio to third parties

2.2 Other device data

The App does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. It also does not require access to your contacts, photos, or storage for normal use.

3. Data collection, storage, and sharing

We do not collect, store, or share your personal data.

• No user accounts are created.
• No audio recordings are stored by the App.
• No audio or analysis results are sent to our servers.
• No personal data is sold or shared with third parties.

4. Third-party services

The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries by default. If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe:

• Which third-party services are used
• What data they may collect
• How you can opt out, where applicable

5. Children’s privacy

The App is not specifically directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information if it exists.

Because the App processes audio locally and does not transmit your data to our servers, the risk of data exposure through our infrastructure is minimized. However, you are responsible for securing your device and operating system.
